He is one of our original volunteers and has been involved in every project to date. He is looking forward to being a part of of the expansion Choose Love Ghana to help more children in education.
Amass Yaw
Amass joined out team in 2014. He has been involved in every project since. He is a science teacher at GFS but is also known for pastoral care, builder, caretaker, grounds keeper and school farm operator. He keeps GFS running and works hard to provide quality education for every child who passes through his classroom.
Denitsa Todorova
Denitsa (left) has volunteered with us twice at Good Foundation School. Once in 2019 and again in 2020 for 6 months. She led projects for the renovations of the children's room as well as supporting the GFS family of 17 through Ghana's lockdown in 2020. Denitsa plans to return to Ghana as soon as it is possible to continue empowering the youth in Ghana with love and education.
Sam Collins
Sam (left) joined us for the GFS rebuild in 2020 to help with brickwork. Due to Covid-19, he was unable to continue with this. His 3 week visit turned into 6 months. During his time at GFS he worked with the family on the farm, in the nursery, and repairing and maintaining furniture. He also helped maintain the old school building to keep it functional for the foreseeable future. He hopes to one day return to Ghana and continues to support our current projects and fundraisers.
Zane Johnson
Zane (middle) was a volunteer builder for the rebuild of GFS in February 2020. He led the rebuild team for the school trenching and foundations. He worked alongside locals and became a close family member during his time in Ghana. Zane hopes to return to Ghana to see the rebuild of the school completed as soon as it is possible.
