Children of the Light Ghana
Children of the Light and Choose Love Ghana have combined their efforts to work with children in Accra, Ghana in 2020. Children of the Light has a passion to help children break out of the harsh cycle of inadequate education and poverty so that they may grow to reach their full potential. Their organisation runs year-round educational programs in Ghana, for children aged 4 to 16 years in one-on-one and small-group learning settings. Our charities hope to continue in partnership in the years to come.

Days for Girls - Nelson, New Zealand
Days for Girls Nelson donated 100 reusable menstrual packs to the girls of GFS in 2020. They're turning periods into pathways. Days for Girls increases access to menstrual care and education by developing global partnerships, cultivating social enterprises, mobilizing volunteers, and innovating sustainable solutions that shatter stigmas and limitations for women and girls. "With your help, we can reach Every Girl. Everywhere. Period."
Not only have we connected with some wonderful charities doing amazing work for the youth in Ghana, we have also been lucky enough to receive support from some very generous companies.

Mitre 10 Mega heard about our charity in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. The team reached out to provide financial support to continue the rebuild of school, to provide food for the family of 17, and to cover some medical costs of several family members.

Dovedale Bakery have been continuous supporters of several of our fundraisers to help rebuild GFS. They have provided materials for the walls and roof as well as food for the GFS family during the Covid19 Pandemic. They are are a brilliant bakery in Nelson, NZ.
