Rebuilding GFS 2020
The rebuild of GFS started in January 2020. 15 volunteers were due to arrive between the months of February to July. The school was due to be completed in July 2020. Unfortunately, the GFS rebuild is now on hold due to Covid-19. We are currently working on plans to put a roof on and flooring in the school. There are 400 very excited children in Ghana waiting for their new school.
Past Projects
Before we became a registered charity, we were still choosing love and ran several smaller projects. Each project was created to empower the youth of Ghana and provide them with the neccesecities for a brighter future.
New School Furniture and Whiteboards
2017
Prior to 2017, Good Foundation School were using uncomfortable and broken school furniture and old and cracked blackboards. A group of friends in London fundraised enough money to replace the blackboards with whiteboards and to build enough new desks and seats for two classrooms.
A New School Library
2014 - Current
In 2014 Good Foundation School had a total of 40 library books. This library has continued to grow and there are now 100s of books on the shelves at GFS. Thanks to people from all over the world!
